What Makes You Rebellious?

Send us a biographical essay of up to 200 words that starts with the words “I am Rebellious because…”along with a photo. Ideally, the picture will be of you, but if you’re feeling shy, just make it something that captures the spirit of your story. The selected bios will be featured prominently on the magazine’s front web page, meaning you could be just 200 words away from being a covergirl.

Don’t feel like tooting your own horn? Send in 200 words (and a pic) about a woman in your life who inspires you. Has your mom overcome incredible odds to keep fighting the good fight? Are you amazed by your neighbor who seems to seamlessly juggle a busy work life, raising a family and looking fantastic? Do you wish you had the energy of your little sister, who travels the country as a roving nurse?

(Note: If you write about someone else, your submission can still start with “I am Rebellious because…” but should end with a tagline that reads “As told to (your name).” Please submit contact information for the person so we can verify that you got their permission to use their name and image.)
